By Laws

An organization is only as strong as the rules that govern its actions. WACAC’s bylaws are designed to ensure that the organization meets its members’ needs and promotes best practices among college counselors and admission professionals in California and Nevada.

Our Credential Committee reviews WACAC bylaws each year to recommend any changes; if changes are recommended, they are voted on by the membership at the same time as Executive Board and Assembly Delegate elections are held.

Annual Report

Each year, WACAC produces an annual report, summarizing our activities and accomplishments for the prior year and discussing areas of action and targeted improvements for the current year.

Mission

It is the mission of the Western Association for College Admission Counseling to support and advance the work of counseling and enrollment professionals from Nevada and California as they help all students realize their full potential, with emphasis on the transition from secondary schools to colleges and universities and with attention to access and equity for all students.
