Counselor Summer Programs & College Tours
These one week programs provide tours and information sessions on 28 unique California college campuses. In addition, presentations about the college process are designed to meet the needs of high school, independent and college-access-program counselors. 1.75 CEU’s will be available for each individual program. Due to space availability, these programs are limited to 40 registrants each.
Share, Learn and Connect
These one-day events provide presentations and plenary sessions designed to meet the needs of high school, independent and college-access counselors. Each program is limited to 150 registrants due to space availability. Sample information presentation sessions include financial aid, the college essay, effective program development, the California public college and university systems, and resources available through College Board.
Middle Management Training Program
This development workshop provides a small group learning environment designed for college admission professionals with 2-5 years experience who have aspirations or interest in career advancement within admissions and enrollment management or higher education. The program is limited to 25 registrants to provide personalized attention and discussion. Topics include understanding enrollment management, career management, leadership development, budgeting, applying affirmative action, and staff supervision.
