Keynote Speaker: Jayme P. Rawson
Achievement Coach & College Coordinator at East Career & Technical Academy, Las Vegas, NV
Championing College Access & Success for High School Students

Jayme P. Rawson has spent more than 20 years helping students achieve their dreams of higher education. For the past decade, she has maintained an incredible 100% college acceptance rate for her seniors. A passionate advocate for college access, Jayme specializes in guiding first-generation students and their families through preparation, applications, and financial aid.
Jayme’s leadership has been transformative. In addition to spearheading dual credit programs that allow students to earn college credits in high school, she organizes workshops, campus visits, and application support. She also revises hundreds of scholarship essays annually, manages the school’s scholarship website, and creates tailored post-graduation plans for all seniors.
At East Tech, she coordinates accreditation and certification processes as well as the Senior Capstone Project Experience, a widely recognized event connecting students with industry leaders. Jayme further leverages her extensive experience to support educators through project-based learning, multi-disciplinary writing, and informing instruction with effective data. As a recognized consultant for Magnet Schools of America, she provides innovative training to schools across 14 states.
Having worked in East Las Vegas for more than two decades, Jayme understands the unique needs of the community. Driven by her commitment to equity, she facilitates opportunities for underrepresented students, from running school-wide ACT campaigns and “jumpstarting” college readiness for juniors to advocating for student success at every level.
Jayme has transformed countless lives, and she continues to empower students to navigate their futures with confidence, purpose, and ambition.
